Staff Development Day Reminder
A staff development day is scheduled for Tuesday, 10 June. On this day, there will be no classes for students, as staff will be participating in professional learning activities aligned with our annual improvement goals. Thank you for your understanding and support
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in Week 10 of Term 2. These conferences provide families with the opportunity to meet with classroom teachers to discuss student progress and Semester 1 Reports for 2025. Conferences will run from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July, with morning sessions from 7:30–8:15 am and afternoon sessions from 2:45–5:00 pm (extended to 7:00 pm on Tuesday). Each meeting will last 15 minutes and can be booked via the PST module on COMPASS from Monday 16 June at 3:00 pm. Families are strongly encouraged to participate, and support is available through the school office if needed.
Pathway to Wellbeing Parent Sessions
St Clare’s Catholic Parish Primary School, in partnership with Catholic Care, is offering two wellbeing sessions for parents and carers to support children’s emotional health. The first session, Emotion Coaching, will be held on Tuesday 17 June from 8:30–10:30 am, focusing on helping parents understand and guide their children’s emotions using Dr Gottman’s approach. The second session, Understanding Anxiety in Children, takes place on Tuesday 1 July from 8:30–10:30 am, and will explore the causes of anxiety, how it affects the brain, and ways to support anxious children. Both sessions will be held in the school hall—please RSVP via the provided QR codes.
Bullying in schools: Parent Survey
The Australian Parents Council (APC) is seeking feedback from families to gain a deeper understanding of experiences and concerns related to bullying in schools. Insights gathered through this brief survey—taking less than four minutes to complete—will inform APC’s national advocacy efforts to promote safer and more supportive school environments. Responses are requested by Friday, 20th June 2025. To participate, please complete the survey here: https://austparents.schoolzineplus.com/survey/16.
